Confetti is made up of small pieces of material ranging from 0.25" squares to large sheets of material dropped to create dramatic visual effects. Confetti is typically in the 1" to 3" size range; however, we have created confetti much larger and much smaller to fit our customer's requirements. Confetti effects can be created using any of our confetti cannons, including both the continuous flow cannons and the single shot cannons. Confetti can also be used by hand dropping it over a stage or audience, or by utilizing a "Snow Bag" or cradle drop. The choice of equipment used depends on the type of an effect you want to create, as well as the physical limitations of the space you are working in.
Imprinted Confetti
We have a variety of imprinted confetti. We are able to print on both tissue, and on metallic PVC. Imprinted confetti can be cut into rectangles, squares, or die cut shapes. Corporate logos which are too complex to be die cut can always be created in imprinted confetti. The lead time for imprinted confetti varies from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the job.
Confetti Material - Tisse
Our tissue confetti is made of biodegradable tissue that has been treated to be flame resistant. We manufacture our tissue products from sources using approximately 90% recycled content. While we work to ensure that our tissue products remain color fast, we cannot guarantee that tissue will remain color fast under all circumstances. Tissue is the lightest of the materials we use to make confetti, and therefore, tissue confetti will, all other things being equal; remain in the air for a longer period of time than will other materials.
PVC
Polyvinyl Chloride or, "PVC" is a material that we have treated in four different ways during the manufacturing process to create four distinctive confetti looks. PVC is flame resistant and the coatings used are colorfast. The four variations of PVC used in our products are: 1) Non-Metallic PVC in which the PVC is dyed, becoming a translucent product which has the ability to show off vibrant, shiny colors without the Metallic content; 2) Metallic PVC, in which the PVC is dyed and coated with a metal to become highly reflective; 3) Technoflek™ PVC, which is a Metallic PVC which has been embossed to create dimples and ridges in the material. This process thickens the material and makes it even more reflective! An added feature of Technoflek™ is that it becomes very easy to clean up as the material does not have a true flat surface to cause any static cling. Technoflek™ cannot be used to create streamers; and, 4) Day Glo PVC, in which the PVC is dyed and coated in order to become luminescent when exposed to black (UV) light.
CleanFree™
CleanFree™ is a material created from plant starch that dissolves when exposed to water. It is the perfect material for use in environmentally sensitive outdoor venues where clean up is either impossible, or very expensive. CleanFree™ is not FR treated.
