The diverse items shown here are all used to secure scenery either to the stage floor or for flying or hanging. While the techniques for flying scenery (lifting it above the proscenium opening) vary, the flattage usually needs to be lifted by a wire rope or hemp. Some of these metal parts are affixed to the wooden frames of the scenery to aid in that process. Other parts are used to keep the scenery solidly affixed in place

NO. 76220 Ceiling Plate: Pick lines or aircraft cable are more easily attached with this device affixed to the ceiling of a box set. May also be used to hang relatively lightweight scenery.
NO. 76310 Top Hanger Iron: Affixed to the top of a scenery flat for hanging.
NO. 76320 Bottom Hanger Iron: Fits under the bottom member of a scenery flat. Usually secured parallel to the Top Hanging Iron.
NO. 76410 D-Ring Plate: (with Ring) The floor plate bolts to the stage floor and lines may be tied off through the D-ring.
NO.74200 Stage Screw: Stage Screws are used to fasten flats or scenery pieces to the stage floor. The Stage Screw goes directly into the wood stage floor. The Steel Stage Screw should be used when the screw must be used in the same place several times, or where exceptional holding power is needed. To use the Steel Stage Screw, drill a 9/16" hole, screw the Stage Plug into the floor with a wide straight blade screwdriver, then fit the screw into the plug.
NO. 74100 Steel Stage Screw: 3/8" diameter. Heavy steel with zinc plating.
NO. 74150 Stage Plug: Used with Steel Stage Screw, but sold separately. For 9/16" hole.
